Our sawmill, located in Middleton, New Hampshire, is one of the largest, most modern mills in New England. Our mill capacity allows us to offer lumber at very low prices and carry unique products not available elsewhere. We have log cabin siding, timbers, and products with the quality Weining Moulder Finish. We use computerized techniques to insure accuracy. Our mill has been certified by the New England Lumber Manufacturing Association (NELMA).

Southern Pine Lumber is known for many characteristics but, strength, durability, treatability, and fastener holding make it a preferred choice among architects, builders, and homeowners. Durability of Southern Pine makes it preferred for high-traffic applications such as flooring, decks, and boardwalks.

Hoover Treated Wood Pyro-Guard is pressure-impregnated, third-generation, interior fire-retardant treated lumber and plywood for enclosed structural applications.

Exterior Fire-X is pressure-impregnated fire-retardant lumber and plywood that provides tested fire protection for applications directly exposed to the weather or high humidity, outdoors as well as indoors.

Hoover Treated Wood's preserved lumber and plywood is protected from decay and termite attack. The treated wood is long lasting, durable and can be placed in the ground or in water. Pleasant River Lumber adheres to a strict quality control program. We grade lumber to the North Eastern Lumber Manufacturer's Association (NELMA) grade rule in accordance with the American Lumber Standard (ALS). Each of our graders is NELMA certified and each piece of lumber is marked with a grader identification stamp enabling our quality control team to monitor individual grader quality.
